Tractor Zadrugar IMR-03 - the first Yugoslav tractor
Prototypes of the Zadrugar tractor produced in the „Industrija motora Rakovica“ factory near Belgrade were presented for the first time in 1949 at the agricultural fair in Novi Sad. The tractors used gas and petroleum, while the first Diesel-run Zadrugar appeared in 1955 thanks to the licence of the English engine producer Perkins. Features of thePerkins IMR 034 Diesel engine: four cylinders, parameter 88.98, carriage 127 mm; 42HP.
The virtues of this tractor are transport speed, external hydraulics and a great force to run the threshing machine. (Its appearance was recognizable). It could be recognized by the steering-wheel on the right-hand side and an independent front wheel suspension.
In our collection you can see the first Yugoslav Diesel tractor with a Perkins engine (England) produced in 1955. It was used in the agricultural community in Vrsar.
